SALES OFFICER
Job Description:
The Sales Officer is required to initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, creating presentations, and understanding customer requirements. The Sales Officer is also required to close sales by building rapport with potential accounts
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise during customer interactions, product demonstrations, and presentations.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand customers' technical requirements and identify solutions aligning with their needs.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential customers through clear and persuasive technical presentations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and functionality of our products/services, highlighting how they meet customer needs.
- Provide expert technical guidance and advice to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers post-sale, providing prompt and effective technical support to address their technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and offer solutions.
- Investigate technical and resolve issues in a timely manner, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
- Conduct training sessions or provide documentation to help customers understand and use our products/services effectively.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor by providing ongoing technical support, maintaining regular communication, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to the sales team to drive competitive positioning.
- Explore and acquire new potential customers and vendors to supply customer requirements, expanding the company's network and business opportunities.
- Monitor and track customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software, ensuring accurate data entry and timely follow-up.
- Offer technical assistance and support to all company operations, including stores, warehouses, and office staff, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 passes in GCE A“ Level
- Prior experience in the sales and marketing field
- Ability to communicate fluently in Dhivehi and English.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and capacity to learn.
