Job Description

A Parasailing Boat Captain is responsible for the safe operation of a specialized parasail vessel, managing crew members, and ensuring a fun, secure experience for guests. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Vessel Operation: Safely navigate and maneuver the parasail vessel, including specialized tasks like launching, inflating, towing, and retrieving parasails.
• Safety Management: Conduct safety briefings, inspect equipment (harnesses, winch, chute) daily, and make critical decisions regarding weather conditions.
• Crew Leadership: Supervise, train, and coordinate with mates to ensure efficient operations.
• Customer Service: Greet guests, provide instructions, manage passenger flow, and deliver a positive, high-energy experience.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of the vessel and equipment to ensure it is in top condition.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of operations, passenger counts, and weather reports

Qualifications:

• License: A valid captain’s license required by local law is mandatory.
• Experience: Proven experience in operating passenger vessels, with specific knowledge of parasailing equipment and procedures.
• Skills: Excellent communication, decision-making, and customer service skills.
• Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, and work long hours, including weekends and holidays.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and ability to work with inexperienced swimmers.
• Passion for marine life and environmental conservation.
