Job Description

Title: Operations Manager

 

Location: Saibrew PVT LTD, Male’

 

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the brewery, including coordinating the production and sales efforts, managing the budget, and ensuring that the business is running smoothly as we scale from a home-based operation to a micro brewery. As a small start-up, you will be responsible for wearing many hats and working closely with the co-founders in all areas of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Oversee the production of kombucha, including managing the production team (currently consisting of the co-founders), setting production goals and schedules, and ensuring that the brewery is operating efficiently
• Manage the sales efforts of the brewery, including developing sales strategies, setting sales targets, and leading the sales team (currently consisting of the co-founders)
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure that the business is running smoothly and efficiently
• Manage the budget and financial performance of the brewery, including preparing financial reports and analysing data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate with other departments (currently not applicable, as there are only the co-founders and the Operations Manager at this time) to ensure that all aspects of the business are aligned and working towards common goals
• Assist with the expansion and scaling of the brewery, including identifying and securing new facilities, equipment, and personnel as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required

2+ years of experience in an operations management or similar role

Strong leadership and management skills

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Strong financial and analytical skills

Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
