Job Summary:

The Manager, Brand Engagement & Relationships is responsible for driving brand visibility and customer engagement across all Oevaali Art Shop outlets in both the Maldives and Singapore, as well as internationally. This international role focuses on aligning marketing strategies with sales goals to maximize revenue, build brand loyalty, and foster strong relationships with key partners. The role oversees digital, print, and in-store promotional activities, paid advertising campaigns, and public relations, ensuring that all brand touchpoints reflect the company’s values and offerings.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Marketing & Campaign Stategy: 

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the overall sales plan and retail calendar.
  • Create opportunities for revenue generation by leveraging existing products, promotions, and seasonal trends.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of digital, print, and storefront promotions to drive foot traffic and conversions.
  • Manage the content strategy for all digital platforms, including social media, email newsletters, and the website, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.

2. Social Media & Digital Marketing:

  • Lead the social media strategy for both markets, ensuring regular engagement with followers and creating compelling content that highlights products, events, and brand stories.
  • Oversee paid digital ad campaigns, including social media ads, Google ads, and other platforms, with a focus on targeting specific customer segments in each location.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics to measure the success of digital campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

3. Partnerships & Retail Calendar:  

  • Establish and nurture relationships with external partners, influencers, and media to drive brand exposure and collaborative retail opportunities.
  • Develop and implement special retail days or events (e.g., holiday promotions, limited-time offers) in partnership with local stakeholders in the Maldives and Singapore.
  • Understand the retail calendar and ensure timely promotions for key sales periods like holiday seasons, festivals, and local events.

4. PR & Communications: 

  • Manage all public relations efforts, including drafting press releases, securing media coverage, and overseeing media interactions.
  • Develop strong relationships with industry publications and manage any paid advertising opportunities to maximize brand visibility.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for brand engagement, ensuring positive brand reputation in all communications and public-facing events.

5. Brand Collateral & Content Creation: 

  • Oversee the creation and execution of all digital and print collateral, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s tone and message.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, and content creators to produce high-quality, engaging promotional materials for store displays, digital platforms, and advertising campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency of branding across all touchpoints, including websites, social media, publications, and in-store experiences.

6. Analytics & Reporting:

  • Analyze marketing data, customer engagement trends, and sales metrics to inform future strategies and ensure that marketing efforts support revenue growth.
  • Report to senior management regularly on campaign performance, customer feedback, and the overall impact of engagement efforts.

7. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales, Product, and Creative teams to align brand messaging with store offerings and customer experiences.
  • Coordinate with the operations teams in both Maldives and Singapore to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and promotions across both markets.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or public relations, preferably in retail or luxury goods.
  • Proven experience managing cross-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and paid media.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital advertising, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a track record of managing partnerships and PR efforts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting on key performance metrics.
  • Willingness to travel between the Maldives and Singapore as needed for brand oversight.

This role provides the opportunity to lead the brand presence of a high-end, locally-inspired retail business in two dynamic markets, driving both local and international customer engagement.

Terms of Employment

  • This is a full-time role. 
    • 5 days working week (Friday/Saturday off)
    • 9:30am to 06:30pm
