Diagnosing mental health disorders based on standardized criteria.
Conducting psychological assessments to evaluate individuals’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
Directing and routing clients to specific therapies according to the findings of the psychological assessments.
Develop customized treatment and therapy plans tailored to each individual’s specific needs and goals.
Providing therapy and counseling to individuals [children with Down Syndrome, autism, ADHD, Dyslexia], couples, families, or groups to help them address and manage psychological issues.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as doctors, and educators to provide comprehensive care.
Communicate regularly with parents, and caregivers to discuss progress and address concerns
Assist in the development of individualized education plan [IEPs] in educational settings.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to share insights and coordinate interventions.
Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Assisting individuals in crisis situations, such as tose experiencing trauma, grief, or mental health issues.
Collaborating with emergency services and other professionals to address urgent psychological needs.
Educate therapy staff by providing information and developing and conducting in-service training programs.
Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders on mental health topics.
Keep detailed records relating to patients conditions, care plans, therapies and progress.
Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers or medical professionals
