Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory & Procurement Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a strong team player, and has hands-on experience managing inventory and procurement operations within a retail or wholesale setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor stock and inventory levels across four retail pharmacy outlets
• Draft RFQs and Purchase Orders, ensuring smooth purchasing and supply chain operations
• Identify wholesale requirements and cater effectively to wholesale customers
• Identify dead stock and short-expiry items, and handle them appropriately
• Ensure healthy product margins and coordinate costing change requests with the accounts and management teams
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and wholesale customers
• Ensure procurement is sourced from the most competitively priced suppliers
• Manage and coordinate internal stock transfers between outlets
Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience in inventory management or procurement
• Ideally 3 years of work experience in inventory management, procurement, or a related field
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in inventory or ERP software is an advantage
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is preferred
