Position Overview

The Digital Content & Engagement Officer will be responsible for creating and managing high-quality digital content, engaging with online audiences, and promoting the college’s brand across social media and other digital platforms. This role blends creativity, technical skills, and communication expertise to showcase student life, academic excellence, and institutional achievements.

 

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos of college events, student activities, and campus life.

  • Edit content for social media, website, and promotional use.

  • Create graphics, infographics, and other digital assets to support campaigns.

Social Media Management

  • Manage all official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).

  • Develop and schedule engaging posts that align with the college’s marketing goals.

  • Respond promptly to messages, comments, and inquiries on all platforms.

  • Monitor performance analytics and adjust strategies to increase reach and engagement.

Brand Promotion & Engagement

  • Promote academic programs, events, and achievements through targeted campaigns.

  • Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to gather stories and updates.

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.

Event Coverage

  • Provide live coverage and content creation during major college events.

  • Produce recap videos, highlight reels, and event photo albums.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field (preferred).

  • Proficiency in photography, videography, and editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar).

  • Experience in managing organizational social media accounts.

  • Strong written communication skills for captions and content.

  • Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines.

  • Flexible to work evenings or weekends for event coverage.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Growth in followers and engagement rates.

  • Quality and consistency of photos, videos, and posts.

  • Timely responses to online inquiries.

  • Positive feedback from events and campaigns.
