Job Description

Position Overview:

VB Brothers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing team and support strategic decision-making across our wholesale and retail operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that enhance business performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect, clean, and validate data from various internal systems (sales, inventory, finance, POS).

  • Analyze trends, performance metrics, and key business indicators.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support retail and wholesale operations.

• Business Insights:

  • Provide insights into customer behavior, sales trends, inventory movement, and supplier performance.

  • Collaborate with department heads to support data-driven decision-making and strategy development.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness through data.

• Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and well-organized databases.

  • Work with IT and ERP teams to ensure proper data integration and flow across departments.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security.

• Forecasting & Planning:

  • Support demand forecasting, pricing strategies, and stock planning using historical data and predictive models.

  • Assist in preparing reports for management presentations, budgeting, and performance reviews.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role (retail/wholesale industry preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.

• Experience with SQL and working knowledge of databases or ERP systems.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working with large datasets.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with retail KPIs, sales performance metrics, and inventory analysis.

• Basic knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
