 Position: Customer Service Officer

(Personal Service Center)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
  • Take and relay messages
  • Provide information to callers and customers
  • Greet persons entering Service Center
  • Take note of the issue and register into system
  • Deal with queries and issues from customers
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Prepare correspondence and documents
  • Register issues and direct the issue to the supervisor
  • Maintain delivery log and supporting documents
  • Organize, maintain issue log and update as per progress
  • co-ordinate with technicians to provide progress update to customers
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment
  • Control inventory relevant to reception area
  • Tidy and maintain the reception area

Specification and knowledge requirement

  • High school completion generally required
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software application
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Keyboard skills and IT skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Customer service orientation
  • Information management
