Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Kitchen & Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and servicing of commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, and associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, ranges, fryers, grills, dishwashers, food preparation equipment, etc.)

• Install and commission complete commercial kitchen equipment and systems

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs

• Install, service, and maintain refrigeration systems, including refrigerators, freezers, display chillers, and cold rooms

• Install, test, and commission cool rooms and walk-in freezers

• Install and maintain kitchen exhaust hoods, extraction systems, ducting, and ventilation equipment

• Carry out plumbing works, including LPG gas systems, water supply, and drainage

• Perform basic electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repairs related to kitchen and refrigeration equipment

• Diagnose equipment faults and replace defective components

• Complete service reports and maintenance records

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures

Requirements

• Technical qualification or certification in Refrigeration, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or a related field

• Experience in commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration installation and maintenance

• Knowledge of refrigeration systems, cold rooms, LPG gas systems, plumbing, and electrical works

• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good spoken English communication skills (mandatory)

• Valid driving licence and ability to drive 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to travel to customer sites and respond to emergency service calls when required
