Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an accounts officer at Kleventi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of our business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to contribute to the overall financial success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:

   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
   • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

   • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
   • Analyze financial data to provide insights for decision-making.

3. Financial Reporting:

   • Generate regular financial reports for management.
   • Prepare and present financial statements.

4. Tax Compliance:

   • Ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations.
   • Prepare and file tax returns.

5. Audit Preparation:

   • Collaborate with external auditors and prepare audit documentation.
   • Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.

6. Cash Flow Management:

   • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity.
   • Conduct cash flow analysis and projections.

7. Payroll Processing:

   • Oversee payroll processes, including deductions and taxes.
   • Ensure accuracy and compliance with labor regulations.

8. Financial Analysis:

   • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
   • Provide insights into cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the luxury goods or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
