Job summary: The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining financial records.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Prepare and process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
Monitor and control expenses
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
Provide support during audits
Perform other accounting duties as required
Qualifications:
Certification in accounting or finance
Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar role
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working conditions:
This is a full-time position that may require occasional overtime or weekend work
