About Us

BHM Traders was established as a sole proprietor business in 1982, by Hussain Moosa. Today BHM Traders is a driving force, a major distributor and market leader for several products in the Trading sector. Over 25 years we have expanded to become a leading local household name, often synonymous with premium quality and affordable F & B and FMCG products. Our business emphasizes true and honest relationships with our customers and suppliers.

BHM Traders prides itself on the way that we cultivate an efficient and close working relationship with our suppliers. Our attention at ensuring great communication and understanding between us and our suppliers have led to the establishment of long-lasting, mutually beneficent relationships.
Moreover, we strive to create an environment of mutual satisfaction and trust with suppliers who we are starting to establish a business connection with. It is our firm belief that our tsuccesses have stemmed from our efforts to work on our supplier relationships.

CUSTOMER NETWORK

The Maldives has a unique layout, in which just over half population, except for the capital Male’, is spread over 200 separate islands, with a spread of around 750km from North to South. This situation has resulted in a distribution network which relies on retail outlets from all over the country having to buy their goods from Male’, and arrange their own shipping on goods boats to their respective atolls and islands.
BHM Traders, due to its location near the harbour front and work ethic in establishing
customer relationships over the years, is fortunate to have established a great network of customers from all over the country. And as such, we have established an excellent coverage of our products across the entire range of islands. We are proud to be able to say that our products can be seen in every single inhabited island in Maldives.
