We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and safety-conscious Surf Instructor to provide exceptional surfing experiences for our guests. The successful candidate will conduct surf lessons, lead guided surf sessions, ensure guest safety, and promote a fun and engaging environment while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct surfing lessons for guests of all skill levels, with a focus on beginners and intermediate surfers.
Lead guided surf sessions while ensuring the safety and well-being of all guests.
Assess sea, surf, and weather conditions before each session to ensure safe operating conditions.
Provide safety briefings and ensure guests follow all safety procedures and instructions.
Assist guests in selecting and using appropriate surfboards and related equipment.
Inspect, clean, maintain, and safely store surfboards and other surfing equipment.
Report damaged equipment, hazards, or safety concerns promptly to the Operations team.
Promote surf-related activities and encourage guest participation to enhance the overall guest experience.
Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high hospitality standards throughout every session.
Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure the smooth planning and execution of daily surf activities.
Maintain accurate records of surf lessons, equipment usage, and any incidents or accidents.
Qualifications:
Proven proficiency in surfing with the ability to confidently conduct guided surf sessions.
Experience in providing surf instruction and coaching for beginners and intermediate surfers.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills in English; additional language skills will be an advantage.
Ability to assess ocean conditions and prioritize guest safety at all times.
Physically fit and comfortable working in an outdoor, marine environment.
Valid First Aid and CPR certification will be an added advantage.
