Job Description

  • The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for assisting the procurement and logistics function by following up on purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, supporting payment processes, and handling physical transportation of supplies and documents. The role requires strong follow-up skills, clear communication, and reliability in handling deliveries and collections.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) and update status through the systems.
  • Monitor orders, deliveries, and procurement records.
  • Contact suppliers by phone or email to follow up on order confirmations, delivery timelines, and outstanding issues.
  • Forward payment slips and supporting documents to relevant suppliers and internal departments.
  • Search for and identify new suppliers in line with company requirements.
  • Coordinate with Dive Centre Managers to obtain supply boat schedules, timings, and availability.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication between procurement, logistics, finance, and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • A formal college degree is not required. Your skills, experience, and willingness to learn with a growth mindset matter most.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, preferably involving coordination and handling of equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement and purchase order follow-up.

 

Desired Skills

  • Strong communication skills, especially for supplier coordination and follow-ups.
  • Organized, dependable, able to handle multiple tasks and perform field/runner duties when required.
  • Familiarity with logistics or marine/offshore supply operations will be an added advantage.

Additional Information

  • Salary negotiable based on qualification and experience.

  • Working Hours 08:00 – 15:30 (Sunday to Thursday)
