In view of the continued success within the practice, we have an immediate vacancy for a bright and enthusiastic Senior Planner to join our team in Maldives.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and monitoring of project initiation programmes to guide all stakeholders through the project initiation process.
Preparation of project development programmes and monitoring performance against baseline requirements.
Preparation of preliminary construction programmes based on a good understanding of construction methods, logical sequencing of works and resource requirements.
Preparation and monitoring of procurement programmes which encompasses the entire procurement process from the identification of procurement packages to implementation of the procured works on site.
Preparation and presentation of regular progress reports to project stakeholders reflecting progress and highlighting project risks from a time point of view.

Work closely with contractors and / or suppliers to monitor performance against baseline programme deliverables (planned vs actual) and provide regular progress reports.
Collaborating with all project stakeholders to identify and implement any changes required to the development, procurement, and construction programmes.
Preparation and presentation of planning forecasts to ensure timeous delivery of information and / or execution of construction activities.
Receive and assess any delay related claims received from contractors and / or suppliers and provide input in determining any award that might be due.

Qualifications:

Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field from a recognized University.
Must be proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6.
Training and experience in the use of construction project planning and programming software.
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of working experience in a similar position.
