Job Description
Position Type: Permanent (Initial contract shall be for a period of 1 (one) year. The contract shall be renewed as permanent based on performance upon successful completion of one year.)
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Auditing/related field or Equivalent (such as Completing ACCA skill level), and Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of audit & assurance or Accounting, of which 1 years of experience in auditing; OR
Diploma in Accounting/Auditing/related field, and Minimum 4 years’ experience in the field of audit & assurance or Accounting, of which 2 years of experience in auditing
Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dhivehi and English
Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Able to work independently and adhere to tight reporting deadline

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision of audit or consulting engagement and the engagement team to achieve the objectives and targets of the Department
Design and execute audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, internal control, and governance processes, ensuring compliance with departmental procedures and auditing standards.
Leverage insights and understanding of the Company in identifying risks and assessing risks.
Evaluate internal controls, risk management and governance process of the Company and recommend practical and value-added recommendations.
Support the day-to-day operations of the Internal Audit Department, assisting in routine or ad-hoc tasks as required.
