Job Purpose:
Lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and fire protection equipment. Ensure compliance with fire safety standards, supervise junior technicians, and maintain operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide junior technicians in system installation and maintenance.
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire alarm panels, detectors, sprinklers, extinguishers, hydrants, and related equipment.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and calibration of fire alarm systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and repairs.
- Identify fire hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in fire drills, staff training, and emergency preparedness programs.
- Stay updated on fire safety laws, codes, and technologies.
- Prepare detailed reports on system performance and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Fire Safety, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in fire alarm and fire fighting systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.
- Excellent English communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in fire alarm panels, detection systems, and fire safety tools.
