Responsibilities:
Reply and handle all reservation enquiries on a timely manner
Assist in planning marketing and sales strategies for all services, by preparing short and long term marketing and sales plan.
Make suggestions and take initiative in marketing and sales of all services.
Advice the management of possible advertising/promotion media to help improve sales and marketing presence.
Study all existing packages and propose how they may be improved. (need to study where the competition is coming from and what they are doing)
Keep a look out for new developments in the tourism and travel industry in the Maldives.
Assist in preparing the Monthly newsletter to send to the Tour Operators
Requirements:
Should effectively handle and convert all reservation inquiries and ensure accurate booking Information is ascertained and communicated to the operational team whilst ensuring customer delight and to support the achievements of the Company.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge with word processing
Knowledge in reservation software is an added advantage
Able to travel inbound and outbound and attend exhibitions
