Job Description:

Prepare and implement the programs, lesson plans and age-appropriate teaching aids according to students’ abilities and interests.
Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address the students’ educational and developmental needs individually.
Complete the progress reports of the students for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for every child.
Communicate with parents via the Connection Book at least once a week, weekly team newsletters and conferences.
Meet the parents to address any concerns.
Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
Conduct the class along with the class teachers as guided.
Render basic first aid as and when necessary.
Support class teachers in classroom arrangement, appearance, decorations, with the materials relevant to Quran/ Arabic Language.
Be familiarised with the curriculum related to Quran/ Arabic Language, handbooks and policy manuals.

Requirements and Qualification:

Degree or Diploma in Teaching Quran/ Arabic language (Approved by Maldives National Quality Framework/ MNQF)
Proficient in Arabic Language and Dhivehi (spoken and written)
Passionate, Creative and inspiring with loving energy
Fluent in both English/ Dhivehi.
Classroom management skills
Knowledge in educational development
Experience in preschool teaching field will be an advantage
