Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in the efficient and successful execution of architectural and planning projects within the consultancy firm. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of projects, ensuring effective communication, timely completion, and adherence to project goals. The Project Coordinator will work closely with architects, engineers, surveyors, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate the smooth progression of projects from conception to completion.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all aspects are progressing according to plan, budget, and timeline.

  2. Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, designers, contractors, and consultants. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates.

  3. Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, and other project-related documents. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

  4. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical milestones, dependencies, and potential risks. Monitor and update schedules regularly to ensure project milestones are met.

  5. Budget Tracking: Assist in budget management, tracking project expenses, and reviewing cost estimates. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and financial reporting.

  6. Drawing Coordination: Coordinate with designers, and drafters to ensure the timely production of drawings. Review and approve drawings for accuracy, adherence to design intent, and compliance with regulations.

  7. Quality Control: Conduct regular reviews and inspections to ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Identify and address any deviations or issues promptly.

  8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, engineers, and consultants, to facilitate effective project coordination and seamless integration of design elements.

  9. Flexibility: Enjoy the flexibility to work from home, collaborating with the team onsite when required for meetings, site visits, or other essential activities.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in project coordination within the architectural/planning industry.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, document management, and collaboration.

- Knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and relevant regulations.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively.

- Strong time management and prioritization skills to meet project deadlines.

 

Salary Range:
Expected Salary range for this position varies from 10,000 - 12,000 MVR. Salary will be negotiable based on experience and technical knowledgeability.
