Job Title

Marketing Officer

Job responsibilities

Content Creation:

●        Develop creative and engaging digital content including text, image, and video for social media, website, and other digital platforms.

●        Create compelling narratives and visuals that align with brand identity and marketing objectives.

Social Media Management:

●        Manage all social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Tiktok) to ensure consistency in voice, tone, and messaging.

●        Plan and schedule content calendars, ensuring timely and relevant posts.

●        Develop and implement social media advertising campaigns to promote magazine content, subscriptions, and special features.

●        Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

Digital Campaigns:

●        Plan, execute, and optimize digital campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

●        Analyze campaign performance and prepare reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.

Content Editing and Publishing:

●        Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.

●        Coordinate the publishing and promotion of content on the website and other digital platforms.

Photography and Videography:

●        Photoshoots and video shoots, ensuring high-quality visuals that resonate with the target audience.

●        Edit photos and videos to enhance quality and ensure brand consistency.

Analytics and Reporting:

●        Monitor digital metrics (e.g., website traffic, engagement rates, social media KPIs) using analytics tools.

●        Prepare regular reports on performance insights and trends, and use data to optimize strategies.

Research and Trends:

●        Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, social media advancements, and industry best practices.

●        Conduct research on competitors and market trends to inform content strategies.

Qualification

A’ level with 1 year experience in a public relation/marketing or related field.

 

OR

 

 

O’ level with 2-3 years’ experience in a public relation/marketing or related field.   

Documents to Submit

  1. Educational certificates with transcript; Courses completed from a foreign university must be accredited by Maldives Qualification authority. Candidates who are yet to receive certificate from such universities can submit a course completion letter with an assessment report issued by Maldives Qualifications Authority
  1. Attested experience certificates
  2. Short courses or training certificates
  3. CV
  4. ID card
  5. Police report

Shortlisting

If the job announcement receives more than 10 applicants, candidates will be shortlisted and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

Selection Criteria

Based on interviews, practical examinations, Experience and Educational certificates

Skills and key competencies

  1. Fluency in written and spoken English
  2. Computer literacy
  3. Cooking skills
  4. Creative and innovative thinking.
  5. Understanding of office principal and marketing principles
  6. Excellent verbal and written communications in Dhivehi and English
  7. Good understanding of social media platforms and trends
  8. Must be able to work independently and ability to meet deadlines.
