  • Working closely with the legal team and knowledge of labor legislation of Maldives to advise management accordingly.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and off boarding
  • Maintain and update HR records, contracts, and personnel files in compliance with Maldives employment laws.
  • Develop and implement HR policies in line with company goals and local labor regulations.
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution professionally.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
  • Process payroll, leave management, and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with Maldives labor laws.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with Maldives labor laws in aligning work hours, salary structures, overtime, and employee rights.
  • Manage work permits and visa processes for expat employees if required.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and creative work environment while aligning with Maldives employment standards.
  • Organize team-building activities and wellness initiatives to enhance workplace morale.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR concerns.
  • Support leadership in an administrative capacity in managing HR for the Singapore office.
  • In fostering a company culture aligned with Oevaali Art Shop’s vision and values.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in the Maldives.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in HR softwares and Google Workspace.

Terms of Employment

  • This is a full-time based role. 
  • 5 day working week; 09:30am to 06:30pm
