Human Resource (HR) executive is mainly responsible for assisting HR Manager with recruitment, training, career development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, industrial relations, employment law, compliance, disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies etc. The job involves keeping up to date with areas such as employment law, which change often.

 

  • Liaising with a wide range of people involved in policy areas such as government organizations, staff performance and health and safety.
  • Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing, and selecting candidates (locals)
  • Communicating and corresponding with Recruitment agencies (both Local and Foreign)
  • Dealing with staff grievances, complaints and disciplinary procedures.
  • Planning, and delivering, training - including inductions for new staff.
  • Handle and follow up all documentation relating to foreign staff (Work Permit, Work Visa Cards, Insurance, Visa Fees, etc.)
    • Preparation of Employment Approval (EA), Deposits and work visa for new employments
    • Follow up and prepare documents for work visa payments, work visa cards, EA extensions, etc.,
    • Follow up and prepare documents for cancelation of work permits in both Labour and Immigration and submit the documents for Deposit refunds.
    • Checking und update Quota availability and cancelations.
  • Responsible for arranging and coordinating airport pickup, Accommodation, Food, medical and Health Insurance for new recruitments.
  • Ensure all the staff accommodation facilities are fully inspected and inventory is maintained.
  • Follow up and issue Staff Appraisals once the employee completes his/her probationary period for the job confirmation.
  • Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system (Personal files and other important documents filings) of all HR and Admin related documents.
  • Review Staff Attendance Report monthly and weekly for Security Team and send to HRM for necessary action.
  • Prepare and ensure Security duty roster is done in a weekly manner and communicate to the team accordingly.
  • Assist HR Manager in any required work.
  • Undertake and carry out any other duties/responsibilities upon HODs request.
