We are looking for a resourceful and detail-oriented HR  to support our growing team and ensure seamless HR operations, with specific focus on expatriate staff and legal compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment: post job ads, screen résumés, Hiring & firing, coordinate candidate interviews, and maintain the applicant tracking system.
  • Lead the onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, and HR database.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, and absences, coordinating with accounts for payroll preparation.
  • Support performance management, staff appraisal programs, and training coordination.
  • Manage expatriate staff operations, including:
    • Work visa applications, renewals, and cancellations
    • Travel coordination for arrivals and departures
    • Accommodation arrangements and liaison with property management
  • Ensure compliance with Maldivian Employment Act (latest version), HR policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor HR policies and practices in line with new Employment Act provisions.
  • Assist in employee engagement, wellness programs, and team-building events.
  • Provide general HR administrative support and address staff inquiries with discretion.

 

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (experience with expatriate employment is advantageous).
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written in Dhivehi and English.
  • Experience handling confidential information with integrity.
  • Knowledge of Maldivian labor law and immigration processes is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and implement changes required under the latest Maldives Employment Act.
