BACKGROUND

CA Maldives is the statutory body mandated with regulating and developing the accounting profession of the Maldives. The institute is also mandated with developing accounting and auditing standards applicable for private sector and issuing license to provide audit and assurance services in the Maldives. The Institute was established on 8th September 2020, following the ratification of the Maldives Chartered Accountants Act (13/2020), by the President.

 

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Write, monitor, and manage contents of the social media and website including articles, captions, newsletters, etc.
  • Post and update regarding events/campaigns and other activities of the Institute on social media and website under the guidance of the management.
  • Monitor, analyse and provide recommendations on the Institute’s performance on social media, website and with international platforms and provide monthly and quarterly reports of the Institute’s events and activities to the supervisor.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the local and international media for press release, interviews and TV and radio appearances.
  • Respond to media enquiries, setup interviews and manage media logistics.
  • Ensure events of the institute are posted and presented on real time by media outlets and update them regularly on the website and all social media platforms.
  • Organize and manage events of the institute and ensure all events are executed as according to set standards and SOPs.
  • Write quarterly and annual reports of the institute.
  • Work closely with relevant local and foreign stakeholders to execute the mandate of the institute.
  • Attend emails, queries from international platforms and discuss and report to the management of such messages.
  • General Administrative duties as required by the management.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing / public Relation Management / Project Management or other relevant field, (OR) Diploma marketing / public Relation Management / Project Management or other relevant field with over 2 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and experience in event management will be an advantage.

DESIRED SKILLS, CHARACTERISTICS, AND COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dhivehi (written and verbal).
  • Should possess excellent administrative skills.
  • Able to design visual content will be an advantage.
  • Interest in writing content that can be represented in international platforms.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

COMPENSATION

  • Remuneration: 13,500 - 15,000
