Job Summary
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to support our corporate sales and brand growth across Maldives and Singapore. In this dynamic role, you will assist in servicing client inquiries, preparing quotations and orders, supporting promotional campaigns, and contributing to day-to-day operations. You will also help identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and support art sales and gallery events in Singapore. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a passion for growing meaningful partnerships in both retail and corporate sectors. You'll work closely with our management in the corporate, marketing and retail divisions to bring localized campaigns, curated experiences, and strategic initiatives to life.
Key Responsibilities
Servicing Corporate Sales (Maldives)
- Servicing inquiries via email, phone and in-person
- Data entry and record keeping
- Creating quotations
- Reviewing, packing and preparing orders
- Organising outgoing deliveries
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required for corporate sales
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management (Maldives & Singapore/International)
- Identify and pursue new B2B and B2C opportunities across Maldives and Singapore, including resorts, retailers, and corporate clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with resort buyers, luxury retailers, corporate partners, and collectors.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Sales Manager (Maldives) and Boutique Manager (Singapore) to plan and execute market-specific growth strategies.
Sales & Strategic Campaigns (Singapore/International)
- Support and drive sales efforts through promotional campaigns, bundled packages, and product launches across both Singapore and International markets.
- Work with the Singapore boutique to create localized sales campaigns, gifting concepts, and community outreach projects that appeal to the regional customer base.
- Build customized proposals for corporate clients, interior designers, hotels, and businesses seeking curated gifting or art solutions.
Gallery & Collector Engagement (Singapore/International)
- Support the art sales process by assisting with client engagement, presentations, and after-sales coordination.
- Assist in preparing and packing artworks for display and delivery, ensuring inclusion of Certificates of Authenticity.
- Help coordinate private previews, artist showcases, and gallery events and collaborations.
- Assist in outreach and coordination with media, influencers, curators, and collaborators to enhance gallery visibility.
Social Media Strategy & Management (Singapore/International)
- Manage and strategize all Singapore and International social media accounts, ensuring a cohesive brand presence across platforms. Responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a consistent posting schedule aligned with key retail and campaign calendars.
- Creating and curating engaging content that reflects Oevaali Art Shop’s visual identity, tone, and values.
- Working with the Brand Engagement Team to maintain brand aesthetics through high-quality visuals, cohesive grids, and storytelling that resonates with both Singapore and international audiences.
- Driving engagement and community growth through interactive content, timely responses, and thoughtful audience interaction.
- Planning and implementing targeted social media campaigns to support product launches, retail events, collaborations, and seasonal promotions.
- Tracking performance metrics to optimize content and strategy, with the ultimate goal of increasing brand awareness and driving online and in-store sales.
Campaign, Event & Initiative Support (Singapore/International)
- Provide business development and administrative support for new initiatives, including events, pop-ups, and new boutique or gallery openings.
- Conceptualize and execute promotional events in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Assist in organizing and hosting industry events, artist talks, and experiential showcases in Singapore.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (Maldives & Singapore/International)
- Liaise with internal teams (marketing, retail, design, logistics) and external partners to execute business strategies smoothly.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging, quality standards, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, client servicing, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of supporting or driving growth strategies across multiple markets.
- Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with diverse stakeholders.
