We are looking for boutique shop assistants with excellent communication and upselling skills, and a pleasant personality to fill the 3 vacancies at:

- Coco Bodu Hithi

- Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu

- Makunudu Island Resort

Job Purpose

To work independently in conducting sales in a professional manner, ensuring to maintain the standard of hospitality required by the resort. Keeping the shop neat and tidy, and making sure new and current stocks are displayed appropriately and in an organized manner. Conducting regular stock counts as instructed from the admin office.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work independently in conducting daily sales in a professional manner, ensuring to maintain the standard of hospitality required by the resort.
Ensure that the boutique shop and all the items are always neatly organized, tidy, and presentable.
Receive, count, and neatly display newly received stock items in the boutique shop.
Keep track of items that are on low stock and send Purchase Requests to the Male’ admin office.
Ensure routine inventory counts of the boutique shop are performed on a regular basis.
Perform on-site full inventory counts from time to time as approved/requested by the Director of Operations.
Any other related responsibility as requested by the Director of Operations.

Requirements

A general diploma in relevant field or a must have completed Advanced level of Education
Friendly, polite and open-minded
Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a luxury setting in a similar role
Strong communication skills
Able to work in a team and is proactive, reliable and flexible
Knowledge in Microsoft Office and G-Suites
Fluent in English, additional European languages are preferred
Able to adjust in to island lifestyle
