F. Bilehdhoo Council is the locally elected governing body responsible for the administration and community development of Bilehdhoo Island in Faafu Atoll (F-Atoll), Maldives. It operates under the country’s decentralised local government system, with councilors elected to represent the island’s residents and manage local services, infrastructure projects, and community initiatives. The council works alongside other local institutions such as the Women’s Development Committee (WDC), Health Center, Megistrate Court, Police, School and other government companies such as Fenaka MTCC to drive social and economic progress on the island. Members of the council often engage with national government officials to support development priorities for the community.
