Reporting to: In-charge of Government Portfolio
Key Tasks, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:
- Key tasks and responsibilities of the post include overall functions of Project Management Unit including managing external projects such as licensing, accreditation and donor-led initiatives.
- Evaluate and assess proposals from Government entities and external stakeholders for new financing programs to be administered by the Company.
- Engage in creating new financing products subsequent to the collaboration with international agencies.
- Assist in structuring and administration of externally funded financing schemes, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and funding conditions.
- Coordinate external funding arrangements of donor-supported financing programs, in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation and related tasks of financing requests for loan programs and financing schemes of donor-led initiatives.
- Maintain regular engagement with funding partners and stakeholders to support timely fund mobilization and utilization.
- Liaison with business departments to ensure company meets the Fiduciary and Policy requirements.
- Preparing and maintaining scheduled and ad-hoc reports on a timely basis.
- Provide support on ad hoc requests as required by the Risk and Government Portfolio.
Requirements:
- MQA level 7 or 8 qualification of Business/Economics/Finance/Banking.
OR,
• MQA level 5 or 6 qualification of Business/ Economics /Finance/Banking with Minimum 05 years’ experience in relevant field.
Other Competencies required:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to adapt to change.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including the processing of word documents, spreadsheets & databases.
- Familiarity with trade, economic development, international agencies, and development of the private and public sector in the Maldives
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry would be an added advantage.
Remuneration Package:
- Gross pay is between MVR 20,000 – MVR 21,150 depending on the qualification and Experience.

Working Hours:
- The selected applicant will be required to work from 0800 to 1600 on weekdays.
