Job Summary:
The sales technician's job will be to market and sell products and services to prospective customers in order to find and create new business prospects. They will develop a deep understanding of all the features, functions, and technical details of the Companies products and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise to customers
- Drive revenue growth and significantly contribute to the company's success through proactive sales approaches.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand customers' technical requirements and identify solutions aligning with their needs
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services to potential customers through clear and persuasive technical presentations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and functionality of our products/services, highlighting how they meet customer needs.
- Provide expert technical guidance and advice to customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers post-sale, providing prompt and effective technical support to address their technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and offer solutions.
- Investigate and resolve customer technical issues in a timely manner, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
- Conduct training sessions or provide documentation to help customers understand and use our products/services effectively.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor by providing ongoing technical support, maintaining regular communication, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities, providing valuable insights to the sales team to drive competitive positioning.
- Explore and acquire new potential customers and vendors to supply customer requirements, expanding the company's network and business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the sales, IT or related field.
- Strong understanding of customers' technical requirements.
