Position: Officer, Marketing & Communications

Job Summary:

The Officer, Marketing & Communications, will be responsible for carrying out the functions of both the Communications & PR Department and the Marketing & Event Management Department. This includes supporting the development and implementation of integrated communication, marketing, and event strategies to enhance the visibility of Business Center Corporation. The role involves creating compelling content, managing media and stakeholder relations, coordinating marketing campaigns, and supporting event management to ensure effective internal and external communication, brand consistency, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 “D” passes in O’ Level or equivalent qualification
  • Vocational training and 2 Years of Relevant Work Experience
  • Fluent in Spoken English
  • Pleasant personality

Job Duties:

  • Draft and prepare copywriting and content for communication and marketing materials including press releases, articles, blogs, social media posts, website content, and multimedia content.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of communication, PR, and marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, print, and traditional channels.
  • Create and design marketing collateral and digital content such as brochures, flyers, banners, social media graphics, and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Support the management of social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, responding to queries, and suggesting strategies to improve online presence.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating website content, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure functionality and user experience optimization.
  • Coordinate campaign logistics, track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to enhance strategies.
  • Support the organization of events, media briefings, press conferences, workshops, and promotional campaigns, including logistics coordination, attendee management, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain and update media contact lists and databases; establish and nurture relationships with media representatives and other stakeholders.
  • Collect and compile industry-relevant data and success stories to support engaging content creation and evidence-based communication.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of internal communication updates, announcements, and information-sharing initiatives across departments.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and communication activities, preparing summaries and formulating strategies for improved reach.
  • Assist in preparing program-related documents such as fact sheets, profiles, and reports for internal and external use.
  • Contribute creative ideas and stay updated with communication, marketing, and design best practices to ensure innovative and effective outputs.
  • Perform other related communication, marketing, PR, and event management tasks as assigned by supervisors.
