1. Role Overview
The Head of Sales & Marketing will lead Stay Islands' revenue generation and market growth initiatives. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, expanding distribution partnerships, developing compelling brand content, and promoting Stay Islands across key source markets through both digital and traditional channels. This position will play a central role in the launch of Stay Islands’ Destination Management Company (DMC) operations, as well as support the rollout of future properties and managed guesthouses.

3. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase occupancy and revenue across Stay Islands properties and the liveaboard.
- Build and maintain relationships with OTAs, travel agents, wholesalers, and corporate clients.
- Launch and manage Stay Islands’ DMC packages (tours, transfers, curated experiences).
- Create and manage the annual sales and marketing calendar, including promotions, trade show participation, and digital campaigns.
- Oversee brand content development including website updates, brochures, social media, and booking platform listings.
- Coordinate influencer collaborations and paid media campaigns to increase brand awareness. • Monitor market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activity to adapt offers and positioning.
- Work closely with the reservations and coordination team to ensure timely responses and quality service to B2B and B2C clients.
- Track sales performance metrics and provide monthly reports to the Group MD.
- Support onboarding of new properties into the Stay Islands network with marketing and sales setup.
4. Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in hospitality sales and marketing, preferably in the Maldives or regional tourism markets.
- Strong network of travel agents, OTAs, and corporate partners.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute B2B and digital marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of PMS, OTA management tools, social media platforms, and basic CRM functions. • Creative mindset with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience launching or promoting tour packages or DMC services is an added advantage.
5. Location and Collaboration
This role will be based at the Stay Islands HQ in Malé and will collaborate closely with the reservations team, property managers, and MGH Group departments including IT, Design, and Finance. Occasional travel to properties or trade shows may be required.
