Job Description

Job Role: 
  • - Ensuring that all payments to supplier invoices (local and overseas) are processed accurately and timely, in-line with the internal policies and procedures and as per agreed supplier payment terms. 
  • - Ensure that all invoices are approved and are matched against purchase orders, and a duplicate/proforma invoice is already NOT in existence prior to commencing the payment processing. 
  • - Ensuring all scheduled payment runs such as Rent, Utilities, tax payments are processed and double entries, posted to the ERP system on a timely basis. 
  • - Preparing/sending transfer letters for payments transferred to vendor bank accounts after getting the necessary approvals. 
  • - Ensuring vendor outstanding balances are reconciled and all entries and if required adjustments, are posted in a timely manner to the ERP system. 
  • - Ensuring all payment details are shared with vendors and internal stakeholders. 
  • Completion of all the month end works within the provided deadlines. 
  • - Ensure all related bank charges are entered into on a timely basis. 
  • - Monthly Reconciliation of all assigned major vendors and make and ensure reconciliations are approved and follow up on the vendor reconciliations that are completed. 
  • - Maintain files containing all supporting documentation. 

Qualifications

• A'level or Diploma in Finance 

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Competency in English & Dhivehi language, written and spoken

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Initiative & the ability to work in a team & excellent communication skill
