Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical systems and installations in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Oversee electrical construction works to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure proper functionality and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment.
• Monitor project progress, material requirements, and electrical costs to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare reports and provide technical recommendations to Management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, generators, control panels, and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications; experience with electrical design software will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

 

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: MVR 15,000 (Negotiable based on qualification and experience)
