Job Opportunity : Civil Engineer

This post is opened for foreign nationals only.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in construction supervision, site inspections, condition assessments of existing structures, project coordination, technical reporting, and the supervision of specialized testing and repair works.

This role requires frequent travel to project sites across the Maldives and close coordination with contractors, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress and quality
• Perform condition assessments of existing structures
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation
• Review shop drawings, materials, and method statements
• Coordinate with stakeholders and attend project meetings (MoM)
• Monitor quality control and compliance with standards
• Support project planning, scheduling, and reporting
• Supervise testing, core extraction, demolition, and structural repair works (grouting, PU injection, crack repairs)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience (site supervision preferred)
• Experience in structural inspections and technical reporting
• Basic AutoCAD and Microsoft Office skills
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and travel frequently
