Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and driven Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of our construction and development projects. You will be responsible to manage the full project life cycle and ensure that all work delivered is in full compliance with project agreements and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects, from initial site handover and demolition to final completion.
• Act as the primary liaison between the Ministries, Councils, subcontractors, and private clients to ensure seamless project flow.
• Develop and monitor detailed project timelines to ensure milestones are met and potential delays are mitigated.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure work meets technical specifications and adheres to health and safety standards.
• Prepare regular progress reports and formal correspondence regarding project status and site conditions, and ensure all documentation for funding is maintained accurately.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Legal & Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, land management regulations, and procurement processes.
• Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage diverse teams and handle high-pressure environments effectively.

Work Conditions

• Type: Full-time.
• Location: Hulhumalé-based, with frequent site visits to various project locations where needed.
• Contract: Candidates must be willing to sign a minimum 02-year contract.
• Probation: A mandatory 03-month probation period applies.
• Currency: Wages and remuneration will be paid in local currency (MVR).
