Job Description

We are hiring for the position of CLIENT ADVISOR – PERSONAL BANKING at Maldives Premier Bank (MPB) in Malé, Maldives. This full-time role is open to Maldivian candidates.

Position Overview:
The Client Advisor – Personal Banking is responsible for providing frontline advisory support and customer service to personal banking customers while promoting suitable banking products in line with regulatory and internal compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned personal banking customers
• Promote and cross-sell suitable retail banking products
• Acquire and onboard new customers in line with approved policies
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML/CFT, and customer documentation requirements
• Escalate unusual transactions or compliance concerns appropriately
• Coordinate closely with Branch Operations for service delivery
• Maintain accurate customer records and activity updates

Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or related field
• 2–5 years’ experience in retail or personal banking
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Responsible and ethical sales mindset
• Strong compliance and documentation awareness
