Branch Operations Lead

Position Overview

The Branch Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing all operational, processing, and control activities within the branch, ensuring efficient service delivery, strong internal controls, and full compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements. The role serves as a key control function, providing independent oversight of operational risk and ensuring segregation of duties between business origination and processing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including account servicing, payments, and transaction processing
  • Ensure operational accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to service-level standards
  • Implement Head Office operations policies, procedures, and process improvements at branch level
  • Ensure effective internal controls and segregation of duties
  • Act as first line of defense for operational risk at branch level
  • Oversee cash management, reconciliations, and operational exception handling
  • Ensure branch compliance with AML/CFT and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and develop Operations & Controls staff and promote a strong control culture

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Operations, or related field
  • 8–10 years banking operations experience
  • Strong knowledge of operational risk and controls
  • Prior operations leadership role preferred
