Job Summary:
As a Bartender/Dishwasher, you are a key member of the hospitality team, responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers. Your role goes beyond mixing drinks; it involves creating a positive and engaging atmosphere, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the bar or establishment. You can also help out in washing the dishes, glassware and utensils.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory, restocking as needed.
- Clean and maintain bar equipment, including glassware, dishes and utensils.
- Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure the accurate measurement of ingredients and the use of proper techniques in mixing drinks.
- Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Be able to take shifts in cleaning the dinning plates
- Should be able to make trendy new drinks
- Creativity will be an added advantage
- Should be able to communicate in English (Education in Hospitality or any related field with Certificate will be required)
Salary: (starting package)
Basic: MVR 5,397
Service Charge: MVR 2,000 - 3,000
Overtime as per law
