MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate activities and tasks as per the instructions of the Head of Department (HOD).
Ensure alignment with departmental goals and facilitate effective communication within the team.
Obtain necessary documents for ship arrivals and departures. Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and facilitate smooth port operations.
Handle crew-related matters, including sign-on and sign-off processes. Ensure that crew changes are conducted efficiently and in compliance with legal and safety standards.
Attend to sites and vessels regarding any vessel-related matters. Provide on-site support and address any immediate issues that may arise during operations.
Handle cargo documentation, invoices, and inwards shipments. Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with shipping regulations.
Liaise with clients regarding the status of cargo and crew matters as required. Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely updates and addressing concerns.
Liaise with local agencies on daily work matters. Facilitate cooperation among various stakeholders involved in maritime operations.
Monitor vessel arrivals and departures. Ensure timely updates are provided to relevant parties and assist in logistical planning.
Attend to crew medical-related matters. Ensure the health and safety of crew members, complying with maritime health regulations.
Liaise with concerned port-related government authorities. Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and facilitate smooth interactions between the agency and regulatory bodies.
Prepair and submit dailry reports to ship owners or managers when required.
