Society for Health Education (SHE) is looking for a suitable candidate for the following post.
ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Provide assistant through finance related works. Petty cash handling, invoice receiving and making, making payment voucher cash sales receiving, sending cash to deposit to bank doing monthly reconciliation of sales & bank & assisting other finance related work.
Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Accounting and Finance
Minimum one year experience in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
Requirements: Must be Maldivian and result oriented
Basic knowledge of MS Office package and QuickBooks Software
Strong written and oral communication skills
Able to adapt to changing work conditions and assignments
Able to communicate and be confident in handling cash
Ability to work with high level of detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple assignments and task
Able to produce various financial correspondence documents
Good organizational, time management and analytical skills
Able to be trained on additional accounting procedures
Focused and target oriented
Able to work as part of a team
Able to work long hours and travel on occasions when required
Able to work independently and leadership
Key Responsibilities:
Efficient recording and updating of all accounting/financial data
Safe keeping of all cash, & accounting records
Processing of financial transactions handled at the department level
Handling all cash receipts relating to institutionalized services
Processing all payable and receivable as per the Director instruction
Monthly bank reconciliation
Monthly Sales reconciliation
Support report preparation
Support donor & grants reporting
Support inventory maintenance
Entry of invoices and other obligations into the system
Undertake other applicable tasks assigned by the Director
Working Hours: 0800 HRS to 1430 HRS
Working Days: Sunday to Thursday (except weekend and all public holidays)

Salary Range: MRF 6,970.00 – 10,780.00
