Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial records, including assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax liabilities.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
• Prepare tax computations and statutory returns.
• Manage payroll processing and related accounting activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist management by providing timely financial reports and insights.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance personnel.

• Maintain accurate and error-free financial records.
• Ensure 100% compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
• Meet deadlines for monthly, annual, and tax reporting requirements.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: MVR 12,000 (Negotiable based on qualification and experience)
