Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements
Handle daily bookkeeping, payments and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
Manage payroll, staff benefits and statutory payments
Coordinate with auditors, banks and regulatory authorities
Review and submission of monthly GST reports to MIRA
Monitor staff attendance, review salary/payroll, pension reports and submit monthly
Ensure compliance with Maldives financial tax regulations
Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Accounting / Finance
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
Experience in Maldives accounting practices will be an advantage
Ability to work independently, with high attention to detail
