Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, inventory control, and distribution of goods. Ensures accurate stock management, proper documentation, and efficient coordination with procurement and retail outlets while maintaining compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure tasks are carried out effectively and in a timely manner.
• Manage receiving of goods from local and international suppliers and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure accurate inventory management including stock counting, reconciliation, and monitoring stock movement.
• Maintain proper stock records in the system including processing invoices and verifying them against Purchase Orders and Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
• Resolve discrepancies related to GRN, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with the procurement department regarding procurement requirements, supplier deliveries, and stock availability.
• Arrange delivery of goods to customers, retail outlets or departments based on requests.
• Maintain proper documentation and records to support internal and external audits.
• Ensure warehouse compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Prepare and submit warehouse reports including stock status, discrepancies, and operational updates.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
