Reports To: Restaurant Manager
Job Summary:
A Waiter/Waitress is accountable for ensuring diners have a positive experience with our restaurant by offering them excellent customer service. Waiters are responsible for greeting diners, taking their orders, communicating with the kitchen staff, and asking customers if they are satisfied with the service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide the perfect service experience for restaurant patrons
- Reports on time and in proper uniform
- Ensure the guest feels important and welcome in the restaurant
- Present menu, answer questions and make menu recommendations
- Must know all food and beverages that the restaurant offers
- Adhere to timing standards for products and services
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to deliver accurate food orders
- Serve customer in an accommodating manner
- Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold
- Process payments of food and drink orders with the cash register
- Maintain table cleanliness
- Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe.
- Excellent Communication Skills
Salary: (starting package)
Basic: MVR 5,397
Service Charge: MVR 2,000++
Overtime as per law
