Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to provide high-quality carpentry work for a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of craftsmanship, precision, and functionality in their woodwork. As part of our construction team, your role will be instrumental in shaping the overall success of our projects, from residential homes to larger structural endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts using measuring tools, taking into account the necessary alignment and leveling.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood and wood substitutes.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub-flooring, erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding, and hardware.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures in residential and commercial buildings.
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and construction standards.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to meet project objectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter in the construction industry.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Good understanding of basic math and ability to perform measurements and calculations.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically capable of performing the demanding tasks associated with the carpentry trade.
