Stock Keeper is responsible for maintaining the inventory records, performing regular checks, receive and verify goods received.
- Monitor the inventory levels by maintaining a proper inventory control system and practices.
- Place purchase requisitions to the purchase department once the inventory depletes to a certain level allocated in the system.
- Perform regular inventory checks by counting physically to ensure accuracy of information.
- Report any inventory discrepancies to the relevant departments.
- Receive goods and verify goods against the purchase orders to ensure that the correct items and quantity has been received.
- Assist in labeling, tagging, and storing of the goods.
- Prepare goods for delivery and ensure the timely dispatch of the goods to correct destinations.
- If required, go for deliveries of the goods.
- Always maintain professionalism while dealing with customers.
- When a colleague is on leave and if the Management deems fit, then some of their work maybe assigned to you until they return from leave.
- Complete any other job or requirements entrusted upon by the Management.
Having a driving license will be an additional advantage.
Candidate must have knowledge of MYOB.
