Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Lead and motivate a team of construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all safety protocols are being followed.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project managers.
• Resolve any on-site issues or challenges promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure all materials and equipment are available and properly maintained for the work being performed.
• Maintain documentation for work completed, inspections, and permits.

 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar role in construction (minimum 5 years).
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction processes, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with construction management software and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., safety/management certifications) are a plus.
• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
