Crowe Maldives is hiring one (1) Senior Legal Officer to lead all legal and regulatory matters for the firm and its clients, including legal advisory, regulatory compliance, statutory registrations, legal documentation, and liaison with regulatory authorities.

Job Description

  • Manage all legal and regulatory matters for the firm and assigned clients.
  • Provide legal support to clients on corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters.
  • Draft, review, and customize legal documents and agreements, including engagement letters, service agreements, shareholder agreements, resolutions, and statutory filings.
  • Liaise directly with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders on submissions, approvals, and compliance matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law.
  • Licensed member of the Bar Council of Maldives.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in legal, corporate, or regulatory advisory roles, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Strong experience dealing with regulatory authorities and statutory compliance matters.
  • Exposure to foreign investment structures, corporate restructurings, and liquidation processes.
